Amy Woodruff, MD, PA, FACC

Dr. Amy Woodruff is a cardiologist and electrophysiologist specializing in electrical disorders of the heart. She is Chief of Medicine at The Woman's Hospital of Texas and on the professional staff of the Texas Heart Institute. Dr. Woodruff received her bachelor of science from Baylor University where she graduated magna cum laude in 1991. She attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, graduating cum laude in 1995. Following medical school, Dr. Woodruff completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where she was chief resident of internal medicine. Her fellowship was in cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute. She also completed a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital and Texas A&M Health Science Center.

Dr. Woodruff is a Houstonian native. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to her ranch and spending time with her husband Trent and three children Brett, Lauren, and Isaac

David Boone, MD

Dr. Boone is an experienced electrophysiologist dedicated to advancing the field of cardiac electrophysiology through exceptional patient-centered care. With extensive training and expertise in diagnosing and treating complex heart rhythm disorders, Dr. Boone is committed to providing the highest quality care to patients. His approach integrates the latest technological advancements and evidence-based practices to ensure optimal outcomes. Dr. Boone is passionate about educating patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that improve quality of life.

Dr. Boone is originally from Florida where he graduated medical school from the University of Florida. He then completed his internal medicine , cardiology, and electrophysiology training here in Houston at the prestigious Texas Medical Center. In his free time, he enjoys watching UF sporting events (Go Gators) and spending time with his wife Frances and his two children Adele and Patrick.
